Looking for new games to play?World in Conflict – ReviewWorld in Conflict is a Modern Warfare Real Time Strategy, in which you play a commander of the American Army, getting rid of the invading soviets, who are crazy, mean and drunk, thus making a challenge like no other Amazingly though the challenge doesn't become boring, giving the game more re- playability value. Anyway, game-play is interesting, this with the challenge makes an excellent adventure to spend your spare time on. Nether the less, it handles like a Real Time Strategy should do, so you will enjoy it, if you like real time strategy's that is. The Camera however, is the only oddity which had me baffled for a minute, but you get used to it and zooming keeps things look good. Although you would expect zooming in with the camera making things look horrible, it doesn't horrify the eye, unlike older real time strategy's. It Surprisingly keeps good looks, even when you are looking up the soldiers noses! Nicely detailed is what describes the army's looks best, and the beauty doesn't stop there! Oh No! It seems that the buildings, planes, tanks, Humvee's, Jeeps, helicopters and even random fleeing civilians are all done nicely! The game also has some brilliant demolition too. Destroying your computer is the only real bad thing the game does, as it chugged and slowed down to the rate of a slug when things got hectic, and this is on my high speculated rig! Finally there is the on-line play, which I didn't try because I have “Can't be Assed” syndrome when it comes to remembering my Ubisoft account name, but I hear from a friend that it is great but I'm just taking his word for it, OK? Oh and when yours truly pressed the button that quits the current process, it came up with an advert (Seen as I got the Demo) Claiming it was by the same people who made Ground Control, so that explains the great game mechanics that I enjoyed. Enjoying this game is something that I did and if I were you, I'd buy it, because It's a fantastic game. And Isn't that what we want? Isn't that what you want? World in Conflict gets 92/100. You can buy it at play - World In Conflict: Complete Edition with it's expansion, go on, it won't bite!.
COD: WAW Review Call of Duty: World at War, or Call of duty 5 as some people call it, is a world war 2 first person shooter, in which you play as a Russian and a American Soldier. Fighting in the Final battles of World War 2 Fighting is basically what you do most of the time, however, it is essentially Call of Duty 4: World War 2 Mod, because it is the same sort of thing, just different maps, Guns and Voices. Exactly 1o seconds into the game, the voices got boring, the voice actors sound depressed, and the mono sound doesn't help it either! I know it's Trying to be realistic, but I don't want to feel so sand like the game is! Upsetting, is the level design, as it is linear, dark and depressing, as the Maps aren't just the the quick fast-actioned, hectic levels of Call of duty 4. Th Only Real Good map is Downfall, bull I still have a dislike towards it. Although a flame-thrower sounds cool at first, I dislike that too, It's Useless and impractical, at first it seems good but It over heats too quickly and then the gore created almost game the shivers, it is horrible to see a bleeding torso crawl across the ground, as if they are an amputated dog and we all know how sad that is, Speaking of Dogs. Hearing that the enemy team has called in the dogs is something to dread, as the dogs basically screw up the whole game. Never the Less the Re-con Plane is horrible as the Russians because the aforementioned voice acting is horrible. Surprisingly you don't have to pretend to like the vehicles, as I thoroughly enjoyed running over the dogs in a tank, yes it seems Treyarch can get something right in this game. Yes I know what you're thinking, but vehicles don't over power the game. They just let you have fun. I must also point out or “Stress” that the Russian Guy without the Finger to fire the gun looks a lot like Imran Zachiev or the guy you kill at the end of Call of duty 4, Am I the only Person who noticed this? Summarising the game's review would take me one quick look in a thesaurus for the word fail to see if I could find a Snazzy alternative for it. One Snazzy feature (Well, the only Snazzy feature) is the Zombie Game you unlock at the end of the game, Even if one of the random weapons is a ray gun from a 60's Sci-Fi. I give Call of duty: World at war 52/100, if you like World War 2 games better than Modern Warfare then buy it.
